The Celebration of the 4 th and the concluding day of the Talent Shows of Mount Carmel School, Sector 47-B, Chandigarh on 1 st December 2017 began with Juliana Marie Thomas, the Head Girl of the School extending a warm welcome. This was followed by ‘Oliver Twist – An English play by the students of Classes V – X. Then the students of Classes VI – VIII presented a song ‘This is living — ’. The Annual Report of the Secondary & the Senior Secondary Classes was read out by Julianna Marie Thomas, the Head Girl & Samridhi Malhotra, the School Captain (Girl) & Nidhil Vohra, the School Captain (Boy). of the School. This was followed by Western Dance by the students of Classes VI – X. 12 students were awarded the Best All-round Student Trophies for the session 2016-17.
Rolling Trophy for the Most Disciplined Class for the session 2017-18 was bagged by Class X-A from the Sr. Group-I Section. The Rolling Trophy for the Best Dressed Class for the session 2017-18 was bagged by Class X-D from the Senior Group-I Section. The Rolling Trophy for the Best Kept Class for the session 2017-18 was bagged by Class X-B from the Sr. Group-I Section.

The Shining Star trophy for outstanding performances in sports for the session 2017-18 was awarded to Shivam Kumar of X-A. Mrs. Poonam Bhatt Rolling trophy for the Best All-round student of the School was awarded to Jinsa E. George of Class XI, The Rolling trophy for the Best House in Athletics for the year was awarded jointly to Milton House & Wordsworth House. The Rolling Trophy for the Best House on duty for the year was bagged by Shakespeare House. Rev. Samuel John Memorial Rolling trophy for the Best House of the year was awarded to Milton House. The Rolling Trophy for the Most Active Club of the School for the year was awarded to the I.T. Club.

24 students were given Award of Excellence in Academics. Gunjan Sahni of IX-D & V.Vinay Karthik of VII-D were presented ‘Best Student Performance Award’ for the session 20116-17 by Border Less Education (BLE) World International.

Dr. Annie Charles & Dr. Charles Samuel presented Rolling Trophy for the highest aggregate marks scored by the student in the Class XII CBSE Examination conducted in March 2017 was bagged by Aarushi Rajpal, who scored 96.8 % marks in the said examination. She was given a cash award of Rs. 10,000/- and all the 45 students who scored Perfect 10 Grade Points in the Class X Board Examination were given a cash award of Rs. 1000/- each.

After this Jinsa E. George of Class XI presented a solo semi classical dance followed by a scintillating Bhangra Performance by the students of Bhangra Club of the School. The programme was ably conducted and compered by the students of the School. A Vote of Thanks was proposed by Nidhil Vohra, the School Captain (Boy) of the School and the Programme ended with the National Anthem.
