Every year 25th November marks the birthday of our beloved Vice Principal Mrs. Annie Charles. This day is also celebrated as Sports Day in Mount Carmel Family. Teachers and Students alike look forward to this day with eagerness and enthusiasm. Here at Mount Carmel School this day celebrates the true sportsmanship of our students, teachers and non teaching staff.
The day started with prayer followed by March Past and spectacular performance by the School Band and initiation by Vice Principal Mrs. Annie Charles. This was followed by various fun races for juniors and 100m, 200m races and relays for seniors.
Many of former students also joined the audience to cheer up the players. They also sportingly participated in a tug of war competition with present Class 12 students.
To encourage students, teachers also participated in races. The day ended with the winners being awarded the medals by Principal Sir and Vice principal Ma’am with loud cheering by the audience.
