MCS Post Vacation Session Commences with a Workshops on Aviation for Mount Carmelites

A Workshop on Aviation & Flying for Mount Carmel Students of Classes XI & XII , was an eye Catcher for Students exploring new Career Opportunities . The one hour Workshop was conducted by Rev. Ken Anderson, a certified Flight Instructor & a Pilot from Minnesota, USA, Flying for Humanitarian Causes & serving orphans worldwide.

The Session gave an overview of the Aviation Industry & Workforce. The Students were briefed about the Qualities & Skills required. Emphasis was on Command over English Language, Attitude, ability to understand technical information etc. Forces involved in flying a Plane gave a hint of the technical part. The Session concluded with a Question – Answer Session. They were also informed of a 10 days Pilot Orientation Programme to be launched soon.

The informative Session was an eye opener for Students yet undecided about their Future Plans whilst some others were also excited about flying as a Career.

The Founders – Directors of the School Dr Earnest Charles Samuel and Dr Annie Charles Samuel believe awareness of Career avenues is one way of strengthening young minds. Dr Parveena John Singh, the School Principal said ‘Such Workshops are especially beneficial when Students are on the threshold of their Career. The Students felt this was a unique Workshop, informative & interesting.
