The Eco and Environment Club, Qudrat, took students to Sector 46 & 47 market to distribute paper bags. These bags were made by students of the club during their weekly meetings.
There is a growing concern over the excessive use of polythene bags as they are not bio-degradable. Hence, our club students took it upon themselves to pass the message around and do their bit of reducing polythene usage.
The shop-keepers were impressed and said that they will use these bags though they were already using them. They encourage the children to continue with their good work.
