Keeping up with the vision of inculcating leadership skills in children and in order to train them to take the School legacy ahead, the ‘School Cabinet Initiation Ceremony 2018’ was organized by Mount Carmel School, Sector 47-B, Chandigarh, on 20^th April 2018 in the School premises.

The ceremony commenced with the Welcome note followed by felicitation of the School Cabinet 2018-19 with pinning of badges by the Founders and Directors of the School, Dr. Earnest Charles J. Samuel & Dr. Annie Charles Samuel, as one by one the students  marched smartly towards their mentors to receive this honour. After this, Head Girl of the session 2017-18, Juliana Marie Thomas, passed on the lighted lamp to the Principal and she handed it over to Jinsa Elizabeth George, Head Girl of the current Session.  Then  last year’s Head Boy Pratikshit Agrahari  passed on the School Flag to the Principal, who handed it over to Shaurya Pahuja, the Head Boy of the current session.   The Principal, Dr. Parveena John Singh  of the School then administered the oath of office to the student members of the School Cabinet. After this the Cabinet Members joined the School Choir as they sang the School Anthem- ‘We Are the Mount Carmelites, We March on to Greater Heights ………’.  Dr. Annie Charles Samuel congratulated the newly formed School Cabinet and motivated them to prove themselves worthy of the responsibility bestowed upon them. She encouraged them to be diligent and determined to attain greater heights in life.

The Ceremony concluded with the encouraging words and blessings bestowed by the Founders & Directors upon the newly appointed Cabinet of the School.
