Under the aegis of the Founders and Directors Dr. Earnest Charles J. Samuel and Dr. Annie Charles Samuel alongwith the Principal Dr. Parveena John Singh, Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh held its annual day celebration with a vibrant display of student talent, academics, and cultural performances on 3rd December at Tagore Theatre , leaving the audience enthralled and proud.

Inspiring Speeches;

The ceremony began with a welcome address by the Principal, The event began with Invocation, Welcome speech, Prayer Dance and Welcome dance. The Chief Guest, Mrs. Shipra Bansal , Chandigarh commission for Protection of Child Rights, Chandigarh delivered a motivating speech, encouraging students to embrace challenges and pursue their passions. Guest of honour – Mr. Chander Shekhar, Retd D.G.P (IPS) and Mr. Rajinder Singh , Retd. D.G.P. ( IPS) also motivated the students.

Students of Grades Pre Nursery to III presented a captivating mix of traditional and contemporary dance performances, musical acts, and drama sketches, showcasing their artistic prowess and cultural understanding.

The theme of the annual day – ‘ONE SCHOOL, MANY STORIES – A LEARNING TAPESTRY’, was beautifully incorporated into the performances, adding a unified narrative to the event. Their adorable outfits and cheerful steps symbolized their transition to a new academic chapter. The innocence and excitement on their faces made it a heart-warming performance.

The evening concluded with the Finale Dance, a grand performance involving students from various grades. This act symbolized unity and celebration, leaving the audience mesmerized. The perfect blend of music, coordination, and energy brought the event to a memorable close. Each performance reflected the hard work of students and teachers, making the annual function a resounding success. It was a day filled with joy, creativity, and inspiration.
