Under the mentor-ship of the Founders & Directors Dr. Earnest Charles J. Samuel & Dr. Annie Charles Samuel in order to develop the scientific temper and to sensitize Students towards the cause of the conservation of Energy, the Students of the Science Club of Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh visited the Energy park and Botanical Garden, sarangpur on 23 .05.2018. Students were inspired by the extra-ordinary beauty of nature. Walking in the garden, they saw a huge variety of plants and explored their uses, functions and so on. They also viewed the internal exhibits at the energy park which depicted various sources of energy and their conversion from one to another. Students also observed the solar panels and windmill installed in the park. They were made aware about the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission (JNNSM) which aims to promote the use of solar energy in our country visiting the bio-gas plant and aquatic plant section were other instructional activities.
The Principal Dr. Parveena John Singh said that such activities broaden the horizon of Students and link them to the practical aspect of Education.
