Under the aegis of the Founders and Directors Dr. Earnest Charles J. Samuel and Dr. Annie Charles Samuel alongwith the Principal Dr. Parveena John Singh, Mount Carmel School  marked the ‘International Day of the Girl Child’  that aimed to empower and raise awareness about the rights and challenges faced by girls worldwide.The event was organized to empower and celebrate the girls in our school community, highlighting their achievements and encouraging gender equality.’Pink Turban Day’ was a resounding success, creating a positive and supportive atmosphere for the girls in the school and fostering a sense of pride in their identity. The event echoed the message that when girls are empowered, they can achieve great things and contribute significantly to society. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students. It served as a platform to inspire a change.

The Principal, Dr. Parveena John Singh stated that this event served as a reminder that every day is an opportunity to support and empower the girl child, and it encouraged everyone to continue advocating for girls’ rights beyond this special day.
