With the aim to nurture children’s creativity, a Fancy Dress Competition was organized at Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh under the guidance of respected Founders and Directors, Dr. Annie Charles Samuel and Dr. Earnest Charles J Samuel. The tiny tots were full of enthusiasm as they became different characters and enthralled us with their colorful attires.
This competition gave them an opportunity to grow their seeds of creativity while imbibing empathy and seeing the world through the eyes of someone else. The young ones used the stage to hone and express their talent while speaking a few lines about their character. In order to motivate them to keep participating, the best ones were awarded with a prize. The first, second and third positions were awarded to Vihaan Gupta, Vaibhavi Srivastava and Kushagr Mahajan respectively. Ojas Dwivedi and Mysha were given the consolation prize.
The mesmerizing show came to an end with everyone’s efforts being appreciated. The young ones were lauded for their artistic flair and showmanship by Dr Parveena John Singh, Principal, Mount Carmel school. Her motivational words gave wings to the children’s dreams and encouraged them to pursue their ambitions. The competition proved to be a great learning experience.
