In keeping with this years theme “Ban of Plastics” the Eco and environment Club at Mount Carmel School ,Chandigarh conducted the following activities :-

Friday the 11th – An article was read during assemble to request the Children to ban the use of Plastic in their lives, since it can never be destroyed.

Friday the 11th – making of paper bags during activity time using brown paper, white paper and newspapers.

Thursday the 17th – A rally was taken out from our School to the sector 46 & 47 markets. Children carried placards that emphasized on the importance of banning plastic.
They went to different shops and gave the shopkeepers paper bags and pleaded with them to stop using plastic bags.

Everyday Children went to different Class rooms to ensure that the Students and teachers didn’t carry bags and other items made of Plastic. Since Mount Carmel has decided to cut down on the use of Plastic and Plastic items.
