The students of classes 3 to 5 of Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh visited the War Memorial in Sector 3, Chandigarh as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsava. A total of 14 students along with two teachers visited the memorial on 27th September 2023 to pay tribute to the valor and sacrifice of the great freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the sake of their motherland. The students were told about the significance of the memorial that it stands as a timeless tribute preserving the memory of brave souls and inspiring future generations to uphold the values of courage, sacrifice and patriotism. It was a wonderful ‘Educational Trip’ where students enjoyed and learned a lot.
