A ‘Gender Equality’ workshop was conducted dated 25.07.2018 by the School Counsellor ( Mrs. Bhawna Dhamija). The workshop was about how socially constructed differences between men and women in India systematically empower one group to the detriment of the other . There are unequal rights,responsibilities and opportunities for Indian women and translate to poor dealt status,educational attainment and economic status compared to men .
Also what/how can the young generation contribute to reduce Gender Inequality in India which is the worst amongst all the countries in Asia after Afganistan .
