Under the aegis of the Founders and Directors Dr. Earnest Charles J. Samuel and Dr. Annie Charles Samuel, Mount Carmel School Chandigarh observed World Malaria Day on the theme “ Harness Innovation to reduce the Malaria disease burden and save lives.

Mount Carmelites pledged to be aware about the causes and preventive measures to be adopted for the same. The objective was to spread awareness against the fatal disease of malaria. The students were informed that it aimed to highlight the importance of investment in new tools, as well as in more effective use of available methods to prevent, diagnose and treat malaria.

The Principal, Dr. Parveena John Singh shared the necessary information with regard to malaria and advised the students to take special care of their health and follow steps in case of any symptoms.
