On, Sunday 19 students of Eco Club, Qudrat, Science Club and Nature Club along with Mount Carmel Teachers went to ‘Nagar van’. They were there at 6 am to watch the local birds of Chandigarh.
Mrs Sarabjeet Kaur was our guide and we managed to see 30 different species of birds. Other school students and tourists were also there for bird watching. In the question answer round at the end of the walk two of our school children won a book each of the pictures and names of the local birds of Chandigarh.
