This year being no exception regardless of the limitations brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, Mount Carmel School Chandigarh conducted the virtual fancy dress competition for the children of Grade 1 on 7th August 2021 under the able guidance of founders and directors Dr Ernest Charles J Samuel and Dr Annie Charles J Samuel. Children did a phenomenal job at the event. They amused us with their creativity, confidence of speech, message delivered and boundless imagination.

The atmosphere was lively and cheerful .The children came dressed up in the colourful costume and enacted and spoke a few sentences on the character or object that they depicted with confidence and enthusiasm.

Some children were dressed up as Doctors, Army officer, Soldier, Rani Lakshmi Bai ,Our National  symbols etc emphasised upon their need and  importance in making our lives easier.

Some children also brought awareness about important issues like save a girl child, Corona virus, the importance of a sanitizer, Importance of donating blood, Reuse of waste material etc. Children kept the audience enthralled with their exuberant display and endearing acts.

Principal Dr Parveena John Singh wholeheartedly appreciated the painstaking efforts taken by our parents and students in making the virtual fancy dress competition a great grand success.
