A Graduation Ceremony for the students of Class V of Mount Carmel School, Sector 47-B, Chandigarh, was held on March 01, 2018 in the School premises. Around 200 students of Class V were awarded Certificates on this occasion for having qualified for promotion from Primary Level to the Middle School Level. It was a Red Letter Day in the lives of these students and there was great enthusiasm among them as they felt honoured. The day started with a welcome speech by Prerak Katoch, a student of Class V-C of the School.  After this the Co-ordinator of Primary Classes and the Class Teachers felicitated the students on the achievements made by them. Manya Sharma of V-A,  Srishti Sahu of V-B, Lakshita Sharma of V-C & Shaurya Sharma of V-D, representing different Sections of Class V also spoke on their experiences in the School and in Class. Mansi of Class V-C & Sadhik of Class V-B were the Masters of Ceremony. The Directors & the Principal awarded Certificates to each student.  The Directors spoke to the students to keep working hard, to be good and to uphold their teachers in high esteem. They also exhorted the students to be sincere and to diligently march onwards truthfully, to achieve their goals.

Overall it was a great day especially for the students of Class V and they thoroughly enjoyed putting on their Graduation Gowns and Caps.  The programme ended with a Vote of Thanks by Nidhi Chauhan  of Class V-B  of the  School and then the National Anthem.
