Under the aegis of the Founders and Directors Dr. Earnest Charles J Samuel and Dr. Annie Charles Samuel alongwith the Principal Dr Parveena John Singh, Mount Carmel School Chandigarh celebrated its 38th Founder’s Week cum- Annual Day on December 3, 2025, at The Tagore Theatre, marking the occasion with the theme “A Symphony of Gratitude – A Celebration of Blessing Called Life.”
The event held special significance as it also coincided with the birthday of Founder and Director, Dr. Earnest Charles J. Samuel, adding warmth and joy to the festivities. Graced by Chief Guest Sh. Amit Kumar, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh, along with Guest of Honour Col. Vivek Chaudhry, Sena Medal (Retd.), the programme unfolded through a series of heartfelt invocations, cultural performances, and artistic expressions of gratitude dedicated to the Almighty, parents, mentors, Alma Mater, the nation, and the school.
In his address, the Chief Guest, Sh. Amit Kumar, congratulated the school for upholding a tradition of excellence and emphasized the importance of fostering gratitude, discipline, and empathy in students, highlighting that such values shape responsible citizens and future leaders.
Principal Dr. Parveena John Singh praised the students and staff for presenting an inspiring programme that beautifully reflected the school’s ethos of celebrating life’s blessings with humility and joy.
