The N.S.S. Special Camp commenced at Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh, on September 26th, following approval from the N.S.S. Department, UT Chandigarh, and the school’s esteemed Founders and Directors, Dr. Earnest Charles J Samuel and Dr. Annie Charles Samuel, as well as the Principal Dr. Parveena John Singh.

The day began with a prayer, thought for the day, and the N.S.S. pledge. Students solemnly vowed to work with dedication, upholding the nation’s freedom and integrity.

Two workshops were held on this day one on Visual Programme on Personal Hygiene and another Organ Donation.Personal Hygiene was conducted by Dr.Tasneef Kausar in which the doctor guided the students about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and good personal habits in daily life.”

The second workshop was led by Mrs.Neha, a Programme Officer at Mohan Foundation.She delivered a presentation on the importance of organ donation after death,dispelling common myth ,and providing statistical insights into the number of people affected by the lack of available organ.

The camp concluded with a pledge to adopt cleanliness as a way of life. Overall, it was a meaningful initiative that instilled in students the spirit of service, discipline, and responsibility.
