Theme : HEALTH, HYGIENE AND CLEANLINESS

 The N.S.S. Special Camp commenced at Mount Carmel School, Chandigarh, on September 25th, following approval from the N.S.S. Department, UT Chandigarh, and the school’s esteemed Founders and Directors, Dr. Earnest Charles J Samuel and Dr. Annie Charles Samuel, as well as the Principal Dr. Parveena John Singh.

The day began with a prayer, thought for the day, and the N.S.S. pledge. Students solemnly vowed to work with dedication, upholding the nation’s freedom and integrity.

Students participated wholeheartedly in poem recitation, debates, and other competitions that highlighted the importance of cleanliness and social responsibility. They also visited the Sai Temple, Sector 29, where they engaged in social service activities like cleaning utensils, sweeping floors, and serving food.

The camp concluded with a pledge to adopt cleanliness as a way of life. Overall, it was a meaningful initiative that instilled in students the spirit of service, discipline, and responsibility.
